Envisioning The Gods - Part I - Typhon

I am constantly almost in a state of ritual practice. By that I mean, there are so many required objects and steps of preparation, that I always find something I "must first do" before beginning.

In that area, I have decided to produce a series of images of the God Forms. I also have an interest in producing some limited color screen printed art as I have a few friends who possess the necessary equipment. So it begins, with TYPHON.

Note this is the image of the God Form one is to Astrally assume, not the sign one is to make in the invocation of it.

Artlantis - 2012

Artlantis was a success again this year! Great weather (aside from Typhon trying to blow my tent away all day) good turn out and sold a lot of art to a lot of enthusiastic people. Thanks to all those who came by the booth. Can't wait to do it again next year...

Nude In Transition

From CHUK Art - Print Gallery
"You" are not a static object. You are an observable, mutable, temporary, constantly changing series of interdependent systems and associated forms. There is nothing to be done but to experience the rhythmic shifting of the universe washing over and through the moment you know as "you".

Artlantis - Saturday June 2nd

ARTLANTIS Arts and Music Festival is this weekend, Saturday June 2nd! If you're interested in experiencing the Atlanta art scene, the weather on Saturday is supposed to be a pleasant 81 degrees (as opposed to last years' sun-surface heat). So come on out and see some art and listen to some bands. I'll be showing some new pieces and selling prints of my more popular work. I'll be selling preframed, mixed media, print-based custom pieces for as low as 50$; as well as large wraparound stretched canvas prints. So, come on out and support Atlanta's art community.

The Sleeper

"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!"

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Sakura Leah

Leah and I had our first anniversary yesterday. This piece "SakuraLeah" is one I painted as a gift for her birthday. It incorporates some of her preferred symbolic imagery.

Its been an adventurous year. Here's to many more.

Art Available - The Lotus of Life and Death

‎"All the world is the dream of Brahama, and when Brahama awakens, the dream concludes."

I've had alot of interest in my latest piece "The Lotus of Life and Death". It represents 70 hours of work over the past 6 months and is the first piece I've done that I feel begins to capture my perspective on universal reality in metaphoric form.

The work is available as a large 18x24 canvas print (200$) or a 12x16 card stock print (60$). Both are coated in a durable hand-applied epoxy finish and are framed. Anyone interested in ordering one should contact me at chukart22@gmail.com. Thank you, your patronage is appreciated.
